Kforce is seeking a Project Manager II in Stamford, CT, to support a new, high-visibility initiative. This role requires strong project management fundamentals, experience with both Agile and Waterfall methodologies, and the ability to work cross-functionally with technical and business teams. The Project Manager will lead projects from initiation through delivery, ensuring timelines and deliverables are met, partner with cross-functional teams, and manage project plans and portfolio updates. The ideal candidate will analyze backend processes, prepare presentations, conduct data analysis, and document workflows.
Must Have
- 3-5 years of proven Project Management experience with strong knowledge of PM fundamentals
- Experience with Smartsheets and/or JIRA for project planning and documentation
- Familiarity with SDLC, application development, or technical project delivery
- Strong Excel skills (VLOOKUP's, pivot tables preferred)
- Excellent attention to detail, organization, and time management
- Ability to effectively communicate across technical and business teams

Kforce has a client that is seeking a Project Manager II in Stamford, CT. Summary: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Project Manager to support a new, high-visibility initiative. This role requires strong project management fundamentals, experience with both Agile and Waterfall methodologies, and the ability to work cross-functionally with technical and business teams. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with a mix of collaboration tools, analyzing backend processes, and driving initiatives that ultimately enhance the customer experience. Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage projects from initiation through delivery, ensuring timelines, milestones, and deliverables are met
- Partner with cross-functional teams including technical, engineering, and business stakeholders to align project goals and outcomes
- Develop and maintain project plans in Smartsheets and manage portfolio updates in SharePoint
- Support backend process analysis to validate routing logic, accuracy of data, and alignment with business objectives
- Prepare clear presentations in PowerPoint for leadership updates and stakeholder communication
- Conduct data analysis in Excel (VLOOKUP's, pivot tables) to monitor project performance and validate outcomes
- As a Project Manager, you will document requirements, progress, and workflows using JIRA or similar tools
- Adapt to both Agile and Waterfall delivery methods depending on project needs
- Contribute to feature development and business value alignment as the project evolves and expands
Requirements

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
